We’ve always had a soft spot for Michael Gorbachev (that’s not weird, right?), and now we have a reason to justify our non-sexual crush on the Russian ex-president and political do-gooder.

In a recently inked deal, Mikhail Gorbachev, former head of the Soviet Union will be one of the new faces of Louis Vuitton. As part of the agreement, the LVMH group, the corporate parent of Louis Vuitton, will donate money to Green Cross International, a group founded and chaired by Gorbachev that works to reform humanity’s relationship with nature. In addition, LVMH will be contributing to Al Gore’s The Climate Project.
