For their Sept 2007 issue, Marie Claire magazine steps up their sometimes lukewarm game.

On top of a smoking cover photo of the ever-classy Ashley Olsen (with accompanying feature article Ashley Olsen: The Coolest Girl In the World), they have a pretty interesting feature on “Are You GREEN Enough” where they analyze the carbon footprints of three women with drastically different lifestyles.

Of the “urban hipster” (we’ll more appropriately call her a typical city girl), “mountain maven” (read: granola-loving walden pond type), and “globe-trotter” (nature-loving environmentalist) they find that the club-going, sushi-eating, martini-drinking urbanite actually has the smallest footprint of the three.
