By cycle 9 the judges have just gotten lazy
It has come to the attention of the erudite viewers of America’s Next Top Model, that Saleisha Stowers , the recent winner of ANTM cycle infinity, is not merely a person with an extremely annoying page boy haircut, but, in fact, already a model.
According to E-Online fans dug up footage showing Saleisha walking the catwalk in an ANTM cycle-six fashion show, appearing on the runway in an episode of The Tyra Banks Show, and hawking hamburgers in a nationwide Wendy’s commercial that aired in 2006; seemingly in violation of an ANTM eligibility rule that states contestants “must not have previous experience as a model in a national campaign within the last five years (including, but not limited to, appearances on television and print advertisements).”
We don’t really understand this season of ANTM. Pretty much every photoshoot involved the girls parading around with superfluous chopsticks in their hair and wearing jean jackets because, apparently, that is the uniform of choice in China. The show has gotten so out of control at this point that if you told me that the next challenge on ANTM was to help Beijing officials reduce dangerous levels of pollution by the 2008 Olympics, we’d be like, whatever. This is just another of Tyra’s antics. She’ll probably try to milk the publicity off tearing this poor girl off her throne Naomi Campbell style.
