We know you’re already excited about the Dark Knight because Christian Bale is uber-hot, even with the lisp. But start getting excited about the Hulk. Photos from the new film, not directed by Ang Lee, have been released, and tweensy little Ed Norton looks pretty awesome. Not only does he kick butt Fight Club style, but he’s also a valiant survivor of radioactive pollution (aka science-lab whoopsy gamma bomb).
And if we’re not careful, the Hulk effect—DNA scrambling, mutations—may become a reality. Traces of radioactive waste were recently found in the Congo River near the uranium mines used by the US to create the atom bomb of WWII. The radioactive waste can contaminate food and water sources, and in effect humans.
Moral of the story: do not attempt to create gamma bombs, because then you will become green, filled with roid rage and destroy stuff.
