B’Phone: Thou Shalt Worship the B by beanstockd

This week in New York City, Beyonce Knowles unveiled her new B’Phone by Samsung. It’s an all-Beyonce themed phone, on which devoted fans (and Sprint customers) will find a Beyonce start-up screen, ringtones, and exclusive little pictures and videos.

Beyonce has, for years, been taking her own approach to the long-lived (perhaps past its prime) green mantra of “reduce-reuse-recycle.” First by “reducing” the ranks of Destiny’s Child until she got famous enough to go it alone. As well as “reducing” the amount of material in her scandalous (though weirdly mom-made) stage costumes.

Now, Beyonce is moving on to “Reuse” with one of the phone’s other features; available only to the proud owners of the new B’Phone, Beyonce is releasing one of her lost tracks – a song recorded when she was 10.

Memo to Beyonce: reuse useful stuff.

Still, if her fans ever manage to get tired of the shrieks of a pre-pubescent diva, she can just move on to the third virtue in the eco-trinity by reminding B’Phoners to recycle their homages-to-B… preferably in the making of an even more hilarious shrine to all that is Beyonce. BradyDale
