Not about a celeb, but close enough!

Today at work, as I researched natural prestige cosmetics I stumbled upon this little link on this major site:
Join Sephora’s Green Team, eh?

Check out the site for yourself:

Sephora’s natural beauty section features cosmetics using organic, botanical and natural ingredients. Ok, sweet, products that are grown without using chemicals, pesticides or synthetic additives.

But I gotta wonder, how much do organic cosmetics really aid the environmental movement?

The companies manufacturing these products (L’Occitane, Stella McCartney, to name two), don’t talk about using techniques to reduce energy consumption or minimize packaging. They do reduce their use of materials hazardous to the environment, though…

What bothers me is this little disclaimer: The FDA does not regulate the term “organic”
