Radiohead is GIVING AWAY (!!!) their latest album online.

This means those guys that borrowed their roommate’s copy of OK, Computer back in college because some girl they wanted to get with said it was “the greatest album ever,” who are now older and don’t have roommates anymore, can still have a free way to check in and make sure that, yep, Radiohead still pretty much sounds like sweet, sweet muzak. In addition to Thom Yorke’s melodic vocals, there’s an extra bonus!– no CD and jewel case and cover art to clog up a landfill.

And in case you…uh, we mean that guy who used to be your college buddy…has any other throwback cds that need to disposed of, here’s what the San Luis Obispo Integrated Waste Management Authority suggests you make em into:

  • Drink coasters
  • Candle holder
  • Bird chasers
  • Reflectors

Coasters? Isn’t that what week-old US Weeklys are for?

Maybe it’s better if we just pass on buying CDs in the first place for mp3s. Data doesn’t go in landfills, right? Right. And, hey, Radiohead is making it even easier. You don’t even have to buy the damn thing. They’ll just give it to you. Boo-yah! Let’s hear it for Brits! BradyDale
