Becks Gives Australian Child Cancer Survivors the Cold Shoulder by Bacon Bits

Becks is in Sydney with the LA Galaxy this week.

David Beckham must have been in no mood for autographs following England’s elimination from the 2008 European Championships. The former England captain didn’t so much as give a group of child cancer survivors a drive-by hello outside his Sydney hotel today. Becks—who arrived by private jet—claims he never saw the kiddies, but we think he was just jealous because the kids beat cancer while he and his England teammates couldn’t even beat lowly Croatia.

Those Aussie kids can breathe easy, though. Their newly elected prime minister, Kevin Rudd, has vowed to immediately sign the Kyoto Protocol which his predecessor wouldn’t.

As for Becks, he’ll have a lot more time off now that England is out of Euro 2008. Maybe he’ll finally get over that broken nail that kept him out action for most of his first season in the MLS.

Beckham needs to step up his game in every way possible if he wants to keep up with wifey.
